Challenges and Solutions

In 1981, when Datascope was founded, computers were primitive by today's standards. The machines were huge, heavy, expensive, and particular about the temperature of the room they lived in. Today's computers are small, light-weight, portable, cost-effective, and more powerful than anyone could have imagined 30 years ago. Data challenges, however, remain much the same as in 1981 — too much data, too little data, insufficient storage, inflexible programs, not enough manpower, and too little experience. Datascope's strength lies in identifying these problems and providing solutions — solutions as simple as creating a database or as complicated as programming a custom application.
